​The Amazon Artist Retreat

Located a few hours outside Puerto Maldonado, Peru, the Tamandua Jungle Station is located in the heart of the Amazon, away from all distractions of the modern day world. Only accessible by 4 wheeler and boat, our artists are brought to a serene, vibrant habitat very few people get to see. 

 

The station is completely run on solar power and candlelight. Facilities include running water, western toilets, unheated showers, and shared double open-air bedrooms with mosquito nets.

 

Artists are provided with three hot classical Peruvian meals a day, cooked by a local chef.  Vegetarian options are available.
